• Paula A F Ribeiro is a consultant and project manager who supports English, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole companies and entrepreneurs to grow and achieve success.

• Her mission is to inspire and empower her community to thrive, working with businesses that share similar values to promote and elevate their brands and visions.

• Originally from Maio Island, Cape Verde, she moved to Portugal in 2006 and later relocated to England in 2014.

• One the day-to-day work she speaks Portuguese and English, but Cape Verdean Creole is her mother tongue.

• She holds a degree in Business Administration and Translation and a master’s degree in African Studies. Since moving to the UK, she has completed several courses in Business and Project Management area.

• With years of professional experience as an administrator, interpreter, event organiser, and store assistant, she brings a diverse and valuable skill set to her work.

• Her first company was founded when she sought to find her “encore,” which evolved into the creation of BEM-CORE—meaning “GOOD as the CORE.” Her business philosophy centres on building a company that not only serves and benefits others but also brings fulfilment to herself and her team. BEM-CORE is designed to support well-being, work-life balance, financial freedom, and long-term community impact.

• From a young age, she has been deeply involved in social organisations and community initiatives:
• She is the founder and organiser of the Portuguese-speaking Community Book Club in Manchester (Círculo de Leitura da Comunidade da Língua Portuguesa em Manchester)
• Volunteer member of Lusoconnection UK
• Volunteer member of APM (Association for Project Management) North West Network
